Every year Directors’ Choice vies for the CAMX Award of Excellence – and succeeds. The program lasts for 6 months during which we receive multiple “secret shopper” calls from Call Management experts. The experts call in on one of our funeral home clients’ lines and engage in any one of the specific call types we’ve specified (death call, prearrangements, shopper call, etc.). Our agents are graded during this call on criteria such as ring count, hold time, live answer, attitude, manners, grammar, etc.
We have now won Atlantic Canada’s Best Places to Work award 5 times! The program works by sending a comprehensive survey to each of our staff. The survey asks questions regarding a large variety of areas of our business including retirement planning, tuition reimbursement, overall satisfaction with the employment, and much more. Once the surveys are completed, we are then compared to other peer companies who’ve applied for the award. Once we’ve won the award, we have the benefit of seeing the results and viewing the areas of our business where we should improve.
