How does your service work?
At the end of the business day, you forward your phone lines to a dedicated no-charge number that redirects your calls to our center. We then answer, using your location’s business name, and relay messages according to your customized instructions. You control what we do. When you are too busy to take a call, we’ll take the call for you. In the unfortunate event that you experience a disaster, natural or man made, your calls will automatically be answered by us.
How will we know the calls are being handled well?
Our Online and Telephone Monitoring services enable you to listen to your calls and messages online or over the telephone, so you can hear the quality in the way we answer your phones.
What if I have a problem with my lines or my account?
We have a supervisor on staff 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, who can personally deal with your issue. Many times, they can resolve the issue right away.
Do you guarantee your service?
We guarantee that you will not lose a first call on our account. We are so confident in our service that we will reimburse twice the national average profit, based on the annual FFDA report, on any first call you lose as a result of our not following your instructions. Our payout experience on this is equivalent to a 250-call funeral home operating for 34 years without a lost first call.
How does Directors’ Choice protect my business?
Directors’ Choice is uniquely positioned to continue answering your calls when the unexpected happens. Unlike many businesses, we have a secondary system that we can switch to almost instantaneously. Also unlike many businesses, our lights will be on during an emergency. We have a full battery-back-up system as well as a diesel generator for long outages. How much does your service cost?
We offer premium-quality service with prices that reflect good value. We work with you to determine the best way to balance your need for information and your cost.
In general, our service is based on agent activity, which is the time spent answering your calls and processing your messages. System usage (to deliver your messages by e-mail, fax, page or text) is included at no additional cost.
How do you know your information on our funeral home is always current?
When we set up your account, we gather as much information as we can about you: your street address, hours of operation, Web site address, directions from area landmarks, hospitals in your vicinity, a florist you may recommend, donations you take, etc.
In addition, daily service and on-call information can be instantly updated online, enabling our staff to provide every caller with a seamless, knowledgeable and accurate response.
